Life takes us on many journeys. At any given moment, we are bombarded with stimuli and information more than we can ever consciously retain, but our unconscious mind absorbs and sorts everything. We are hardly aware of the magnitude of thought that comes through us, but if we can remain fully conscious in the present moment, our higher self illuminates the simple wonders revealed, and all it all comes down to love! If you peel away the layers of why we do things; our need for approval, success, beauty, power and control, it is all in the feeble attempt to be loved!
I took a journey as an introspective for myself...to answer the inevitable “who am I and where do I fit in the collective?” I went without expectations - just the intention of remaining open hearted to whatever presents itself. You know the old saying 'wherever you go, there you are?' Well I soon discovered wherever I go I’m welcome in ways unexplainable. There is so much love...I feel like I walk a path of light and it’s nothing I do, but rather who I am. Who we all are when we allow it - light reaching out to light- love.
Let’s face it, we all want to be seen and acknowledged not for what we look like like or what we say, but for that which radiates from every soul...love! And it is much greater than you can ever imagine if you step aside and get out the way of your own self judgement!
Judgement comes from fear of lack. Our very nature is to fear not being good enough- not being loved, being abandoned! Yet we are quick to abandon ourselves without a fraction of the concern we have for another!
I can tell you my experience is there’s plenty of love to give and receive when we start seeing from outside our learned perceptions. Life is exploration and there are no two people alike. In fact, you are not the same in any given moment to the next.
Life is exploration and there are no two people alike. In fact, you are not the same in any given moment to the next. Each of you are like a river, centered in your core yet forever circulating energy, expanding beyond anything you thought possible and then some!
If you struggle with this concept, I encourage you to start in nature. All living creation is a proving ground but nature is a safe haven in which to start. You can trust love there, because nature gives it unconditionally. There is nothing you need do or say. No dress code- it’s come as you are... perfectly human with all your imperfect fears of being unloving, unlovable or unworthy. Nature will not laugh or ridicule; there are no judgements and it will never abandon you. Here is where you relearn acceptance and trust of yourself. And that’s when the magic begins:)
